Every Thursday we offer ways to give back in the community. For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest you Offer to Plant Flowers for an elderly neighbor. Read on for more details!
Flowers are something beautiful to see and smell. The mere sight of a flower can brighten someone’s day. However, not everyone is able to plant flowers due to time restrictions, age and/or physical limitations. Planting flowers can be a simple act of kindness to extend to someone else.
For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest you Offer to Plant Flowers for an elderly neighbor! If you have someone in mind, ask if they would enjoy some flowers being planted for them. Often times, someone who is unable to do something for themselves, has a hard time asking someone else to do that task for them. Why not just ask if you can assist someone in this way. Be sure to ask if they have a favorite flower or flowers they would like planted. Also, ask where they would like them planted. It can be something that takes very little time and money, but can offer so much joy to the recipient. Can you extend this kindness to someone you know?
We hope everyone is able to take part in this week’s Give Back Thursday suggestion to Offer to Plant Flowers for an elderly neighbor. The joy you can bring to someone else, is worth far more than the effort you will put into this project!
