Chamber- Uncategorized- What To Do Wednesday

On Wednesdays, we offer suggestions of things to do in the area. For this week’s What To Do Wednesday, we suggest Relay For Life & Grove City. Read on for more details.

Cancer is something that has affected most every person in one way or another. Whether you have personally been affected, are a caregiver, or a community supporter, it has affected you. Most every single person can think of someone in their life who has been diagnosed with cancer or cared for someone who was.

For this week’s What To Do Wednesday, we suggest Relay For Life & Grove City!

Did you know that we have our very own Relay For Life of Grove City? This Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Memorial Park, Relay For Life of Grove City will have a lineup of events from 10 AM – 11 PM. The event schedule includes an Opening Ceremony, Survivor/Caregiver Walk, Luminaria Ceremony, and Closing Ceremony. This is a great opportunity to show your support for survivors and their caregivers. It also offers the opportunity to remember those we have lost to cancer. Show your support for Relay For Life and for Grove City!

The Opening Ceremony offers an opportunity to honor everyone affected by cancer. It also honors those who have been a part of the Relay For Life season. The Survivor/Caregiver Walk is a special time to cheer on every courageous survivor and caregiver for the strength they have shown. The Luminaria Ceremony and Closing Ceremony each offer a time to remember those we have lost, those who are fighting every day, and those who are caring for and encouraging others. They are a time of remembrance, a time of celebration, and a time to come together to continue the fight. How will you be a part of this special day in Grove City?
