Every Thursday we offer a way to give back in the community. For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest Plants! Read on for more details.
Plants seem to make any space feel homier. Adding a plant to your home or office can make the room feel more inviting. People tend to want to spend more time in a room that has flourishing plants. Do you have a room that plants do better in? Would you consider yourself to have a green thumb?
For this week’s Give Back Thursday we suggest Plants!
Do you love plants? Are you someone that can take any plant and make it thrive? Then this week’s suggestion is especially for you. Grove City Community Library has begun a Plant Propagation Exchange. We think this is a wonderful idea! People can bring plants or plant clippings to the library during normal business hours and exchange for other plants or plant clippings. You are sharing the victories of your green thumb with others. This is a great way to get and try new plants and for others to do the same. With a little loving start a plant clipping can go from something small to a full-fledged plant. You get to have a front seat to watching life and growth occur.
Anyone can participate with Grove City Community Library’s Plant Propagation Exchange. They do ask that you bring a baggie or container with you for any plant clippings you take. This small provision will ensure safe travels for the clippings to their new home. Once you get your plant or plant clippings home, you can put your green thumb to work and get them flourishing in their new environment.
We hope you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity being offered by Grove City Community Library. This is a great way to give back to the community by sharing plants and fostering a love for them. Maybe you will even help a new generation find a passion for plants and blooms!
