The tenth annual Grove City Chamber Awards Evening, A Red Carpet Event is coming up on Monday, November 11, 2019! Held at the Guthrie Theatre, the evening celebrates Grove City Chamber member businesses and individuals who give back to the community. It is a truly wonderful evening celebrating good work.
Special Congratulations to the 2019 recipients:

The event kicks off with red carpet arrivals at 7 PM where attendees get to walk the red carpet in true Hollywood fashion while having their photo captured by “paparazzi”. Once inside, they enjoy delicious food and drink supplied by local restaurants. The awards ceremony begins at 8 PM. Each of the five awards given out are accompanied by a special video about each recipient. This is truly a first class event that everyone should attend! At only $25 per person, this is a special evening at a special price. Veterans receive a discount with valid ID.

- Differences between the updated regulations under the FLSA and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act, including Pennsylvania’s upcoming higher salary threshold
- Tips on what employers need to do now to prepare for these changes; and
- A preview of future changes under the updated regulations

Paula teaches three lifestyle classes for our community, based at Grove City Medical Center: MOVE is a low-impact fitness program for those with mobility issues and sedentary lifestyles; LEAN is a lifestyle and weight management class that helps participants learn tools and reduce cholesterol, improve metabolism, and manage thyroid symptoms while increasing energy. New to her schedule is “Stall the Fall”, a fall prevention program based on strength, flexibility, and balance.

In the spirit of giving this Holiday season, The Grove City Young Professionals Organization will be hosting a free community dinner on December 19th!
We want to give back to the community of Grove City and spend an evening providing a delicious, warm meal to everyone who would like one, from every walk of life in this beautiful city we call home. We also want to take this time of togetherness to remind the community of what this season is all about.
This free dinner will also double as a food donation drive. We will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the Grove City Community Food Pantry.
