Today’s Post: The commercial plaza, Pine Grove Square, was constructed in 1981 with most stores opening in late 1982. Original anchor tenants included Kroger, Thrift Drug and Murphy’s Mart. Photomart was located in the parking lot.
Answer: FACT! Pine Grove Square was developed by J. J. Gumberg Co. of Pittsburgh. The development was under construction in 1981 with most stores opening in November 1982. Original anchor tenants included Kroger, Thrift Drug and Murphy’s Mart. Other stores included Fashion Bug, JoAnn Fabrics, Hallmark and several others. Did you ever get photos developed at Photomart?
