Answer: FACT! Here is information from the Grove City Area Historical Society’s website:
On April 1, 2008, the Farmers National Bank of Emlenton opened a branch office in Grove City at 1319 West Main Street.
Note:
The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton was originally chartered on January 1, 1900 by James Bennett and a group of
businessmen as a commercial bank servicing the Emlenton community. The bank grew until it operated the home bank
in Emlenton, six branches, and a savings and loan association. In 1989, The Board of Directors of Farmers National Bank formed the Emclaire Financial Corp. to expand into additional business ventures. The Grove City branch was one of these expansions.
