Every Thursday we offer a way to give back in the community. For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest you Encourage Educators! Read on for more details.
A new school year has begun. This means educators are getting to know new students and preparing them for a great school year. From learning names to getting to know personalities, they have their hands full. Our educators are doing what they can to instill a love of learning in our youth. Homework and assignments are part of the process and help students as they learn new things. Teachers are working hard to make sure their students are gaining knowledge and being prepared for their future.
We all benefit from a little encouragement. When you receive a kind word or note of appreciation it can make a tough task or day seem a little easier. Even if you aren’t having a tough time, words of encouragement can keep you fueled for the work ahead. Are you someone that encourages others?
For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest you Encourage Educators! With the school year starting, reach out to an educator you know and encourage them. Let them know you are thinking about them and encouraging them. These simple words can take next to no time to extend, but they could make a true difference to the recipient. You could call, text, email or mail a note. Only a few minutes are required to say something nice!
We hope everyone takes a moment to participate with this week’s Give Back Thursday suggestion to Encourage Educators. Let them know their work matters and they are shaping the future. Something as simple as “Thank You” can go a long way!
