Every Thursday we offer ways for people to give back to the community. These may be fundraisers, opportunities to donate, or ways to physically help. This week’s Give Back Thursday suggestion is the Library Used Book Sale. Read on for more details!
The Grove City Community Library is a wonderful place in our community that has instilled the love of books in many a person, especially children. The library offers several programs to get people engaged and excited about reading. While most programming at the Grove City Community Library will be done virtually, due to the pandemic, the love of books will remain at the core of what they do.
All the Details
The library staff is hosting a used book sale from 9 AM – 4 PM, Saturday, September 19th at the Joseph D. Monteleone Pavilion at Grove City Memorial Park. Books are $5 a bag, and DVDs and CDs are $2 each. Bags will be provided. There will be a basket raffle and refreshments. The library’s used book sale is a long standing tradition that our community members have enjoyed for many years. We are so happy they will still be able to offer it this year!
For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest the Library Used Book Sale. Why? Because this is the perfect opportunity to support the Grove City Community Library! You can grab some gently used books, at a terrific price, and enhance your personal library. There are still a few moments left in Summer to enjoy reading a good book. But, just around the corner are plenty of crisp Fall moments and chilly Winter moments to cuddle up and read a good book! This is your chance to stock up while giving back to the community by supporting the Grove City Community Library!
