Every Thursday we offer an idea of something you can do to give back in the community. This week’s Give Back Thursday suggestion is to Shop Thrifty Threads! Read on for more details.
Thrift stores can be an exciting adventure. You never know what treasures will await you. Scouring shelves, racks and every corner, is required! The very item you have always been looking for could be waiting to be purchased. Or, something you never even realized you needed could be waiting. Do you enjoy a thrift store adventure?
This week’s Give Back Thursday suggestion is to Shop Thrifty Threads! Located on S. Center Street in downtown Grove City, Thrifty Threads is next door to the Grove City Community Food Pantry. In fact, they are actually connected in more ways than one. Every purchase at Thrifty Threads goes to support the work and service of the Grove City Community Food Pantry. By shopping at Thrifty Threads, you are helping to feed people in need.
After being closed for a year due to the pandemic, Thrifty Threads is now OPEN! You can visit them on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 10 AM – 4 PM. They have loads of inventory and need your help! Stop by and shop to help them clean out some inventory, while also supporting the Grove City Community Food Pantry. This is a win-win!
We hope everyone will take advantage of this week’s Give Back Thursday suggestion to Shop Thrifty Threads! You are not only feeding your thrifty side, you are also feeding people!
