What is a short description of what your businesses is and what it does?
Le Creuset is focused on inspiring and empowering people everywhere to make joy through cooking. From our original enameled cast iron cookware to stoneware, stainless, silicone and more, Le Creuset has grown to offer products across a range of materials and categories that guarantees the right tool for the right job.
What’s the story behind your business?
We are a French company based in a small town north of Paris France called Fresnoy-le-Grand. Le Creuset introduced the first vibrant, Flame-colored enameled cast iron cocotte in 1925. This ground-breaking cocotte took a kitchen staple—cast iron cookware—and refined it, making it more functional, more beautiful and deeply joyful.
What is a best / top selling / favorite product or service you provide?
Our Best selling items are Dutch Ovens and Braisers. The Dutch Oven comes in sizes from 1 Qt all the way up to 15.5 Qts.! The Braisers range in size from 2.25 Qts. to 5 Qts. Our most popular color is Cerise. Not only is Le Creuset fantastic to cook with, but they are also beautiful serving pieces making less cleanup for you!
When is your busiest time / season?
Without a doubt our busiest time of year would be from Thanksgiving to Christmas! Who would not want one of these to cook in for the holidays.
What is something people would be surprised to know about your business?
While everyone knows we make Enameled Cast Iron Cookware, did you know we made fantastic lines of Non-Stick and Stainless Steel cookware too? These lines are also backed by the same Limited Lifetime Warranty as our Iconic Cast Iron! We carry everything for your kitchen except appliances!
Can you tell us about a memorable or favorite customer experience?
I remember having a customer come in and telling me how it was time to replace their Le Creuset Dutch oven. I asked them what was wrong with it. After our conversation I asked if they knew Le Creuset had a Limited Lifetime warranty. They were skeptical but I sent them home with a warranty claim form. A few weeks later they came back to thank me. Le Creuset sent them a replacement. They left that day so happy and they added to their collection!
How is your business responding to COVID-19?
Le Creuset has been following all of the guidelines for sanitizing, social distancing and wearing of masks. We have been in our store taking phone orders and offering free shipping to our customers. We will be offering curbside pick-up as well as free shipping. Also, if you can’t make it to the store we can email you photos so you can do virtual shopping!

Is there anything else you’d like us to talk about?
