On Wednesdays we share an idea of something to do locally. This week’s What To Do Wednesday suggestion is Scarecrows & Fall! Read on for more details.
Who doesn’t love Fall? It is a beautiful time of year that is not too warm but not yet cold. Crisp Fall days filled with sunshine beckon us to be outdoors. How do you like to spend a lovely Fall day?
For this week’s What To Do Wednesday we suggest Scarecrows & Fall!
Take a walk at our local Memorial Park. Not only can you see changing leaves, you can also see scarecrows. Right now, Scarecrows in the Park is happening! You can drive or walk by to see lots of different scarecrows. These have been designed and setup by local businesses, organizations, individuals and families. We suggest taking a walk to enjoy each one. Which one will be your favorite?
To add to your fun, we suggest getting a Fall drink to enjoy before, during or after your walk. Of course, we suggest support our Chamber Members like Beans on Broad, Dunkin’ or Pampered Palate Cafe & Bistro. Each one has special Fall drinks available on their menus. Whether you choose hot or cold, we are sure you will enjoy a little Fall flavor.
We hope everyone takes advantage of this week’s What To Do Wednesday suggestion of Scarecrows & Fall! Walking along and enjoying the scarecrows is fun for all ages and free. That certainly fits in everyone’s budget. We hope you will also support our Chamber Members and get those Fall drinks because that is too good of an idea to pass up! Remember, if you love a scarecrow a local business or organization decorated, be sure to tell them! They will love hearing that you saw it and enjoyed it.
