For this week’s What To Do Wednesday suggestion, we are thinking cozy thoughts. Remember, these suggestions don’t have to be limited to only Wednesdays, they can be done anytime and are meant to inspire you to look within the community at all there is to do. This week’s What To Do Wednesday suggestion is Fresh Coffee & A Good Book.
With the start of Fall, we adjust our thinking and the ways we spend our time. We tend to want to do things associated with Fall, like looking at changing leaves, wearing warmer clothing, and we seek out all things pumpkin and apple. Now that Fall has officially arrived, we can see the temperatures changing, as well as the leaves. Now is the perfect time to do something that puts us in the heart of nature.
This Week’s Plan
For this week’s What To Do Wednesday suggestion, we think it is the perfect time for Fresh Coffee & A Good Book! The first part of this plan, is to go to the George J. Howe Company and get some fresh coffee. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from. You can also choose to purchase whole beans and take them home to grind yourself, or you can grind them right there at the store! They have small individual size packages that make the perfect pot of coffee, or you can buy it by the pound. Just the smell of fresh coffee alone is worth this trip! What flavor will inspire you? Check out their website for more information https://www.georgehowe.com/.
The second part of our plan is to choose a good book. You may already have a book in mind, one that you’ve been meaning to get started but haven’t yet. Or, maybe you will be inspired to grab a crisp new page-turner. This part is all up to you and your interests. Just be sure to find something good to read. Next, you can brew some of your fresh coffee you just purchased from the George J. Howe Company. Put it into an insulated travel mug or thermos, depending on how much you want to take with you! Grab your book, your coffee, and get ready for a peaceful time in nature.
Putting the Plan Into Motion
Head over to Grove City’s Memorial Park. There are plenty of quiet spots throughout the park. From seats in the little gazebos overlooking the pond or the Rotary Memorial Garden, to a bench by the pond, or one of the pavilions, there are plenty of seats to be had. Maybe, you might even be inspired to bring a blanket and choose a spot amongst the leaves on the ground. Wherever you choose to sit, you will be surrounded by nature, falling leaves and crisp Fall air.
Now is the perfect time to sit, relax, sip some great coffee and read a good book. Take in the quiet, enjoy the atmosphere, and find yourself immersed in the story that you are reading. This is the perfect way to spend a Fall day.
We hope you will enjoy this week’s What To Do Wednesday suggestion of Fresh Coffee & A Good Book. Enjoy this moment before Winter is upon us and sitting outside is simply not as enjoyable!
