Thursdays are the days that we offer a way to give back in the community. For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest Socktober Sock Drive! Read on for more details.
Do you have a favorite pair of socks? Are they ones with a wild print or are they soft and cozy warm? Socks are something that can instantly add warmth on a cold day. They are also great for use when working out or going on a walk. Socks bring comfort and protection to our feet. Sometimes we even take them for granted. However, if you were in need of socks they would not be something you would ever take for granted.
For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest Socktober Sock Drive!
If you are not aware, the Grove City Area Federal Credit Union is doing a Socktober Sock Drive. They are collecting new socks, any size, any color. The socks will be given to the Grove City Community Food Pantry. We suggest helping the Grove City Area Federal Credit Union by donating new socks for this sock drive. Socks can be dropped off at either Grove City Area Federal Credit Union office any time during the month of October during normal business hours.
Hopefully everyone will help out with this week’s Give Back Thursday suggestion of Socktober Sock Drive! The Grove City Area Federal Credit Union will be happy for the assistance in collecting socks. The Grove City Community Food Pantry will be grateful for the collective donation of new socks. Even more grateful will be the people receiving this wonderful gift. Although we don’t often think about socks, they can be a necessity. Lets all help and donate socks!
