Every Thursday we offer ways to give back in the community. For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest you Volunteer for History! Read on for more details.
Preserving history is important. It offers future generations the opportunity to learn about who and what came before them. When we learn from history, we can avoid making the same mistakes. We can also build upon advancements and ideas to enrich the future.
The Grove City area is fortunate to have the Grove City Area Historical Society and Museum. Located in a former hotel, you can literally see history come alive within the walls. From the decorated front windows, to every inch of space inside, visitors can experience the area’s history. There are exhibits that showcase the businesses, organizations and people that have defined the Grove City area. Step inside the Grove City Area Historical Society and Museum to take a journey through time. See first-hand why this community is so special.
