Every Wednesday we offer a suggestion of something to do in the area. Our ideas always involve one of our Chamber Members. For this week’s What To Do Wednesday, we suggest to Admire & A Closer Look! Read on to see just what we mean!
Something truly beautiful can be described as a sight to behold. We are often drawn to things because they are visually appealing to us. However, such items may be off limits for us to get too close, or to touch. For example, a museum will display beautiful works of art. However, they do not want us to touch these works of art. They are to be appreciated only with our eyes.
Admire
For this week’s What To Do Wednesday, we suggest heading to 144 S Broad Street in Grove City. This is the home of Joden Jewelers! Beauty will surround you as you visit Joden Jewelers. Hearing the story behind a piece of jewelry, can literally make the piece come alive. You will find a new appreciation for jewelry and look at each piece as a true work of art.
Did you know that Joden Jewelers has been finding new purposes for pieces of jewelry that are no longer part of our daily culture? For example, they have been taking lingerie pins and repurposing them into things like necklaces and earrings. Stick pins have become rings! It is wonderful to have new life breathed into historic pieces to allow them a second chance to shine.
