Every Wednesday, we make a suggestion for something to do locally. These suggestions include supporting one of our Chamber Members. For this week’s What To Do Wednesday, we suggest a Book Signing & Keystone Safari. Read on for more details.
Have you ever met an author? A book signing can offer the opportunity to meet such a creative talent. Whether you have read the words they so carefully put together, or you have yet to do so, a book signing is an exciting experience. Not only can you meet the person responsible for writing the book, but you can also have them sign your copy of what they created. How exciting!
For this week’s What To Do Wednesday, we suggest a Book Signing & Keystone Safari! On Sunday, July 18th from 10 AM – 3 PM, meet local author Ellaura Shoop during her book signing at Keystone Safari. The book is entitled The Meer: Perilous Ground. As described by the author, “It is part of a series called The Meer. It follows a family of meerkats through many different generations, struggles, and survival challenges. The key themes are family and coming of age.” The age range for this book is middle grade.
Get your copy of The Meer: Perilous Ground signed by Ellaura Shoop during this special event. Then, visit everyone at Keystone Safari. The lions, giraffes, bears, and everyone else! Make it a day filled with good memories!
