On Wednesdays we offer suggestions of things to do in the community. These suggestions do not have to be done specifically on Wednesdays. For this week’s What To Do Wednesday, we suggest Strawberry Shortcake! Read on for more details.
Strawberry shortcake is a delicious treat, there is no doubt about that! Picture it, a tasty biscuit topped with creamy ice cream and lots of sweet sliced strawberries and juice. Do you have a good mental picture? Can you smell the sweet strawberry smell? Are you starting to taste the strawberry goodness? You might be getting excited only to fear disappointment since it is only May and Strawberry Days in Grove City is not until June. No need to get too disappointed….
For this week’s What To Do Wednesday, we are suggesting Strawberry Shortcake.
We would not make such a suggestion if we did not have a plan for you! The Grove City Rotary Club will be selling strawberry shortcake with ice cream from 11 AM to 6 PM on May 22nd at Mercer County State Bank, 712 W Main Street, Grove City. The shortcakes will be distributed via drive-thru setup. The proceeds will benefit local Rotary programs. The cost is $5 per strawberry shortcake. Only cash will be accepted.
Have you ever had the Grove City Rotary’s famous strawberry shortcake? Trust us, it is worth more than $5. This will be the BEST $5 you will spend this weekend! Get your plan together now for how many strawberry shortcakes you will order, and where you will go to enjoy their deliciousness. We suggest our lovely Memorial Park to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while eating every yummy bite of your strawberry shortcake. The best part? The park is located very near Mercer County State Bank, so you won’t have to travel far for seconds, or thirds!
