Chamber- Uncategorized- What To Do Wednesday

Every Wednesday we offer an idea of something you can do in the area. These ideas usually involve supporting a local business and having some fun. This week’s What To Do Wednesday is Treats & Tail Wags! Read on for more details.

Do you have a furry loved one? A beloved member of your family with four legs and a furry coat? This week’s What To Do Wednesday Treats & Tail Wags focuses on those beloved members of the family. Whether you have a dog, cat, or another pet, they are no doubt loyal and loving. This week we think they deserve a treat!

We suggest going to Grove City Agway & Pets and buying your furry loved one some treats! You can even take them with you and let them pick out their own treats! We know tails will be wagging with this fun trip. Grove City Agway & Pets keeps your furry loved one in mind as they stock their shelves with a variety of treats of different shapes, sizes, and flavors. There is truly something for every pet. From apple and bacon flavor to cheese to you name it, your dog will be excited with anticipation! The felines in your life aren’t left out with a variety to please even the most finicky.

Grove City Agway & Pets also has plenty of food varieties and other necessities like collars, leashes, and the most important thing….toys! Your pet will thank you as they pick out their next favorite thing to play with. We are sure you won’t leave empty handed!

Don’t have a pet? You can still participate!

If you don’t have a furry loved one, you can still participate in this week’s What To Do Wednesday: Treats & Tail Wags. There are plenty of dogs and cats without families to call their own. There are also pets who are in need because their family is facing hard times. You can buy treats, food, collars, leashes, and toys to donate to different organizations who can make sure they are put to good use.

Grove City Area Pet Rescue would be happy to receive your donations and give them to pets waiting to be adopted. AWARE, Inc. would gladly accept your donations to help with their PAWS program which helps victims of domestic violence leave violent situations with their pets. The Grove City Community Food Pantry would be grateful for donations that can assist their clients who have pets and might not be able to afford to purchase some of these items. These and several other organizations are in our community actively helping pets in need.

Have you ever considered adopting a furry loved one? If this is something you have considered but weren’t sure if it was right for you, take some time to do some research and find your answers. Grove City Area Pet Rescue has 145 cats currently being fostered and cared for as they await their forever homes. If this is an option for you, reach out to them to discuss further. Perhaps you could become a foster and help in that way. Or, maybe you could help them financially as they care for these loving animals. Whether you are ready to commit to adopting, fostering, or just helping those who do, know that there are animals in need right here in our own community.

We hope that this week’s What To Do Wednesday finds you gathering up your furry loved ones, getting treats, and seeing those tails wag!
