Armstrong Launches The New EXP Experience with Voice Remote
BUTLER, PA – October 15, 2018 – Armstrong announced today the launch of its newly enhanced EXP User Interface (UI) with advanced Voice Remote capability. The TiVo-powered UI features sleek screens with a modern look, deeper color schemes, more images and subject-based icons. The new remote’s blue microphone button enables endless searches activated by casual voice commands.
“We are very excited about this launch,” said Armstrong President, Jeffrey A. Ross. “The enhanced EXP user interface will provide a dramatically improved user experience.”
He added, “There is no doubt that our existing customers will appreciate the vast improvements and our new customers will be equally impressed by the hyper-modern functionality.”
Voice Remote capability takes search and discovery to a new level, providing fast, highly accurate results, channel changes, app launches, and user interface navigation simply by speaking into the remote.
“The ability to use voice instead of pushing buttons on the remote control is a game-changer,” said Melinda Weaver, Armstrong General Manager. “There’s no doubt that our customers in Grove City will soon enjoy their EXP experience even more.”
“Our Voice Remote is so easy,” added Adam Daniels, Armstrong Field Marketing Manager, “Simply say the name of a movie, favorite actor or show, and EXP searches and finds your content across multiple sources, including live TV, On Demand, DVR, and streaming services like Netflix, Hulu and HBO Go.”
Other notable features of the new offering include Smart Bar and Sports Ratings. The Smart Bar appears on the home screen and offers quick links to the programming you want to watch when you are most likely to watch it. Sports Ratings monitor and rate both live and upcoming games on a scale of 0 to 100 so you never miss an exciting moment from your favorite sport.
