On Thursdays, we offer ways to give back to the community. For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest Round Up for Pets! Read on for more details.
We all shop. Whether we are shopping for essentials, big project supplies, or something special, we all shop. What if going shopping could help take care of pets in need? Would you be more likely to go shopping? We all know that change can quickly add up to dollars when collected. Spare change is something we are all likely to throw in a donation jar versus cluttering up our vehicles. What if that “spare change” could help pets in need?
For this week’s Give Back Thursday, we suggest Round Up for Pets!
During the month of July, visit Busy Beaver in Pine Township. You can ’round up’ your purchases and have that extra money go to Grove City Area Pet Rescue! This organization is working hard in our community to take care of stray animals, especially cats, to make sure they are cared for. From food, to medical care, to fostering and adoption, this group is doing it all. With well over 200 cats to care for, they have expenses. They are providing care every day to pets in need. Now is your chance to help them. Rather than having your purchase at Busy Beaver come to $20.32, round it up to $21. You will not miss $0.68. But, your $0.68 combined with that of others throughout the month, can add up quickly to a much bigger amount. This money can go directly to helping pets in need. How could anyone say no to that?
We hope everyone will take advantage of this week’s Give Back Thursday suggestion to Round Up for Pets! You can go multiple times throughout the month and round up your purchases. Think of what you can purchase at Busy Beaver. From every day essentials, to big projects and more, you can go shopping and help pets in need. This is a win-win for all, especially for Grove City Area Pet Rescue! What are you waiting for? Go shopping!
