If you are like us, you are missing getting to go to community events like concerts. There is nothing quite like hearing great music from a great band and having a good time. With the current situation and safety related precautions for the COVID-19 pandemic, we are all uncertain when things like going to concerts will be allowed to happen again.
Rather than missing out on musical performances completely, we thought we’d bring a little joy your way with this week’s Watch Wednesday recommendation! Grove City is home to some very talented performers and bands. Many of these local bands have performed at special events our Chamber has hosted and have been enjoyed by many. Local band, Treebeard Brown, is one of those bands we’ve enjoyed many times over the years. We were very pleased to find that they are still getting together and performing, virtually, during this unusual time. Whether you check out their virtual performances, or those of other bands and performers, we simply recommend still having music in your life.
If you’d like to see what Treebeard Brown is up to, you can go to facebook.com/TreebeardBrown/ and scroll down to watch a couple of videos they’ve posted recently with the band coming together virtually to perform. While there, you are also able to check out other videos they’ve posted of past performances. Sure to bring a smile to your face, these videos are the next best thing to a live performance. Enjoy!
Please note, the Grove City Chamber did not organize, schedule or participate in any way with these virtual performances. While we have organized community concerts and paid performers in the past, this post is not reflective of such action. This post is simply to pass along good news for people to enjoy during a tough time and celebrate good things happening in our local community.
